Evgenii Shparenkov has joined the team as Head of Audio. With over ten years of experience working in professional audio, he is incredibly versatile, having delivered a broad range of events from concerts and festivals to high-profile corporate events. With strong attention to detail and an acute aptitude for problem solving and thinking creatively, he is a great asset to Protec, its audio team, and its clients. He brings a deep understanding of L-Acoustics systems, DiGiCo consoles, Dante networking and much more allowing him to integrate seamlessly with Protec’s stock and ensure internal training and development continues and future investment is in tune with market needs. With a background in lecturing, his commitment to learning and sharing knowledge ensures we have a team that is constantly growing its knowledge and working collaboratively with the benefit of ongoing professional development.

Protec also welcomes Gintas Valuntonis, a well-rounded technical project manager with a specialist background in lighting design. His LD background coupled with a strong knowledge of audio, video and rigging aid in planning, designing, and the smooth management of all technical projects. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years across Europe and the Middle East, he brings a vast amount of varied event experience to Protec’s clients from his background in touring, broadcast, live concerts, and corporate events.

Finally, heading up the video department is Yevgeniy Karyagin. Having been in the UAE for 10 years, he has excellent local knowledge and experience allowing him to navigate and avoid the usual pitfalls with ease. With an excellent command of media servers, LED screens and projection Yevgeniy is ideal at developing creative solutions for Protec’s clients. His experience and enthusiasm for training ensure the Protec video team continues to stay at the forefront of industry developments and innovations.
